Changing Your Plan

Upgrade or downgrade your billing plan

Plan changes are self-service from Billing → Change Plan. Pick the plan you want and confirm.

What happens to the fee

It depends on whether you're already on a paid plan and where you are in the cycle:

  • Free → Paid: the new monthly fee is charged today, and a fresh 30-day cycle starts.
  • Mid-cycle UPGRADE (current plan paid, new plan costs more): you're charged the difference only today (e.g. switching from $20 to $50 mid-cycle costs $30 now). The plan switches immediately. The full new fee renews at your existing cycle end date.
  • Mid-cycle DOWNGRADE / lateral move (current plan paid, new plan costs equal or less): the change is scheduled. Your current plan continues to the cycle end, then the new plan kicks in and is charged for the next month. No charge today.
  • Cycle expired (>30 days since last fee): the new plan's fee is charged today and a fresh cycle starts.

Pending changes

If you scheduled a downgrade and want to keep your current plan instead, an amber banner on the Billing page shows the pending change with a Cancel pending change button.

Insufficient credits

Upgrades only run if your credit balance covers the difference. The error tells you exactly how much more you need.

Plan limits

You cannot downgrade to a plan whose max sites or max users limit you'd exceed. Archive sites or deactivate users first.
