Setting Up Passkeys
Sign in with fingerprint or face
What are passkeys?
Passkeys let you sign in with your fingerprint (Touch ID), face (Face ID), or device PIN instead of a password. They're more secure than passwords because they can't be phished or reused.
Registering a passkey
- Go to Settings → Account Security → Passkeys
- Enter a name (e.g., 'MacBook Touch ID')
- Click Register Passkey
- Your device will ask for biometric confirmation
- Done — the passkey is saved
