What is ClockMi?
Product overview and key concepts
ClockMi is a web-based worker attendance tracking platform that uses QR codes. Companies place a QR code at their job site entrance, and workers scan it with their phone camera to check in and out.
Key Concepts
Job Sites — Physical locations where workers check in. Each site has a GPS location and a unique QR code.
Workers — People who check in at sites. They don't need accounts — just their ID number and phone number.
QR Codes — Time-limited, HMAC-signed tokens displayed on any device. They auto-refresh for security.
Check-In / Check-Out — Workers scan the QR code, enter their details, and the system records their attendance with GPS verification.
User Roles
Super Admin — Full access: billing, team management, all sites, all reports.
Admin — Manage sites, team, reports. No billing access.
Site Manager — View assigned sites only, display QR codes, view attendance.
